What data is stored and transmitted in Leashing Mode?

When a Safetrust reader detects a mobile device with Leashing Mode enabled, it requests authentication with a credential stored in the Safetrust Wallet.

  • If the user does not have a valid credential for that reader, no further processing occurs.
  • If the user has a valid credential, the credential card number is securely transmitted from the mobile device to the reader through a negotiated encrypted session.

No other personal or sensitive information is transmitted or accessible through this interface, ensuring a secure authentication process.
