Why does my Safetrust device appear as an unknown or different manufacturer type on my Wi-Fi router?

Safetrust devices use MAC addresses that are registered with the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), ensuring they fall within an officially assigned range.

However, some Wi-Fi routers may not have the latest IEEE database updates, which can result in the device appearing as an unknown manufacturer or a different device type. This is purely a labeling issue and does not affect the device's functionality or security.

As router databases are periodically refreshed, the correct Safetrust manufacturer information will update automatically over time.
